Kat Hawkins M.S., LMT is a Second Generation Healer
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Kat is a second generation healer. As a licensed massage therapist (NVMT#3002) and educator, Kat has a deep passion for helping people and healing. She has been practicing massage therapy and teaching for over 16 years. Kat graduated from UNLV with a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Kinesiological Sciences. With a solid academic foundation under her belt, she then attended The College of Southern Nevada, where she earned her Massage Specialist certification. Recognized early as a leader in her field, Kat was invited to teach by the Health Sciences Department at the College of Southern Nevada. In her role there, she supervised the student massage clinic and taught Kinesiology, Musculoskeletal Anatomy, and Pathophysiology for massage therapists. With a life long commitment to always learning, Kat focused on injury prevention, rehabilitation and orthopedics during her Masters program. During her tenure at UNLV, she was employed by both the Kinesiology Department and Biology Department to teach a wide variety of practical science college level courses and conducted research at UNLV’s satellite campus in Biomedical Research Laboratory. Today, Kat is at the helm of her thriving healing practice helping people to live their best lives.
